Civil Defense and Firefighting

This two-year degree program provides students with a basic theoretical and applicable knowledge of civil defense and firefighting. After graduation, the students will be able to work as a rescue technician in the Municipality Firebrigades, Emergency Offices, Rescue Offices or as a firefighter in hotels, in public institutions, in airports, and ports, in industrial zones as well as a technician in companies producing and selling fire safety equipment or a technician for occupational safety and health.

Graduates may also take the Central Placement Exam (DGS) and continue their education in related undergraduate degree programs of the universities in Turkey.
