Fruit and Vegetables Processing Technology
The program, which offers associate degree for students, was constituted in in 1985 by the support of World Bank. FVP Technology Program provides students with a modern learning environment containing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in order to train qualified technicians for the industry. Students are trained to find employment opportunities in the following fields: fruit and vegetable processing factories (canned food, jam, dry food, brine, olives, fruit juice, etc.), sellers (hypermarkets, dealers, etc.), analysis laboratories, catering enterprises, hotels F&B departments, pharmaceutical companies, organic food businesses, cold storages.
Graduates may also take the Central Placement Exam (DGS) and continue their education in related undergraduate degree programs of the universities in Turkey.
